Unit 4: Activity 7- Assignment 2
In the novel, The Road, the boy shows one of his main traits as compassion. Throughout the story, he sees through untainted eyes and can see clearly from anyone's point of view. Along the way, he does not think anyone should have to die, and that everyone should be able to stay alive. For example, to protect himself and his son, the man has to take someone's life and kill him. The boy gets extremely upset because he didn't think that person had to die. He couldn't see the real danger, all he saw was another human being.
